Joined in 2005. Kirsten holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from DePaul University. She has over 16 years of experience working in various sales and marketing management positions at Dow Chemical and BASF Corporation. She is also a certified G.E. Plastics' Supplier Six Sigma Black Belt. She formerly served as Co-Chair of the Board before assuming the Executive Director’s position. Before retirement, Kirsten managed the marketing group for a plastics business at BASF with over $500 million in annual sales. |

Adriana Ayala Hire

Joined in 2006. Adriana Ayala is the Pre-Collegiate Director for the Roaring Fork School District, which currently serves about 180 first-generation, collage-bound students from grades 7th to 12th. Since 1993, Adriana has taught middle school in Carbondale and Glenwood Springs, and has been an adjunct Spanish professor for Colorado Mountain Collage and Mentors State Collage of Denver. She holds an M.A from the University of Colorado, and an Ed.S. from the University of Northeren Colorado. |

Art Ackerman

Emeritus Board Member. Art was born and raised in Michigan. Art served in WWII as a Naval Aviator. He holds a B.S. degree in Engineering and an
M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. Art spent his career with aerospace & commercial products manufacturers, retiring in 1983 from the CEO position. Art moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1985 and got immediately occupied in subdivision development, real estate sales, ran for County Commissioner, Assistancia (sp) Para Latinos board, Chamber board, brought Rotary to Carbondale in 1987, serves on the C4K board, Child Help River Bridge board and became a KDNK DJ in 1989. |

Bob Elmore

Emeritus Board Member. Bob is a co-founder of C4K and served as Chair of our Board of Directors for four years. Bob moved to the valley with his wife Bee in 1996 after working for thirty five years as a consultant with Accenture. Bob became a CPA in 1964 and holds a degree in economics and an M.B.A. from Dartmouth College/Tuck School. Bob and his associates at REAL are currently serving non-profits and other organizations with strategic planning services. (www.relmore.com) |

Dick Kruse

Joined in 2002. Dick serves as Treasurer of C4K. He has a B.A. degree in mathematical statistics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. degree from the Amos Tuck Graduate School of Business at Dartmouth College. He is a C.P.A. and has been in the public practice of accounting for 45 years, for the last 30 years operating his own practice. |

Gerry McDaniel

Joined in 2008. Gerry has 30 years of sales and marketing experience with Dow Chemical. Before retirement, he served as a Corporate Account Executive at Dow. He is also a mentor for the RFSD's pre-collegiate program at Roaring Fork High School. |

Judy Haptonstall

Joined in 2005. Judy is the Superintendent of the Roaring Fork School District, has 30 Years experience in education, 2 years as a teacher's aide, 10 years as a teacher at the middle school level, 18 years in administration in the Roaring Fork school district; 8 years in Basalt and 10 years at the district office. |

Kelley Mitchell

Joined in 2002. Kelley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and an M.B.A. from Butler University. He has over 22 years work experience in technology-related assignments, having held positions with Electronic Data Systems in computer networking,software and database development, and project management. For the last 11 years he has worked in and managed a full-service technology consulting business. Along with other technical certifications, he is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA). |

Patrick Curry

Joined in 2007. Pat received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and is a founder and the CEO of Blue Tent Marketing. Prior to starting Blue Tent, he was president of First Resort Software, Inc. then a wholly owned subsidiary of Gaylord Entertainment. He has been in the Resort Software Industry for over 20 years, the majority of that time was spent founding and growing First Resort Software, Inc. His tenure at First Resort ended with a successful sale of the company in an IPO under the name of ResortQuest International, Inc. He subsequently worked on the acquisition team for RQI that resulted in the acquisition of 17 resort companies in 18 months. He participated with varying roles with RQI until it was successfully sold to Gaylord Entertainment. |
